ABOUT DAN

My name is Daniel Green and I have been creating professional video content since 2008.  I have done creative work in nearly every aspect of media production, from screenwriting to production to editing and delivery to clients.

I worked as a teaching and graduate assistant while finishing a graduate degree in Communication from Northern Illinois University.  This allowed me to both instruct students on video production and editing techniques and to work in a professional video production environment for NIU's Media Services department. 

At NIU Media Services, I recorded media with DSLR and ENG cameras, studio light kits and audio gear, and then edited, post-produced and and delivered videos using Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

My freelance work includes event photography, videography, screenwriting, live video production, motion graphics and web design.

I have an active family life and volunteer my skills and efforts to several charities, including the annual Extra Life Gaming Marathon for the Children's Miracle Network of Hospitals.

My goal for every creative project is to deliver a final product that will impress the client and their audience and leave a lasting impression in the current digital landscape.
